Passage #472: 26 September 2018
Mondegreen
Intentions are sometimes good to have. They help you get things done and not flail about randomly. But thwarted intentions are sometimes even better, because the unintentional thing is just more interesting in a weird and poetic way that the intended thing could never hope to be. Take this evening's ride for instance, which turns out to be something rather different than what we intended, but is (we hope, at least) much more interesting for it.
