Land of a Half-Dozen Lakes


For a city in the desert, we have so many lakes... well, reservoirs... former reservoirs, anyway. Yes, they are mostly artifacts left over from times when water was more scarce, but their value remains, even if the thirsts they quench are now more figurative than literal. Join us tonight for a brief tour of the once-utilitarian, now-decorative water bodies that grace our landscape.
