Passage #401: 3 May 2017
Three Act-Structures
There is a certain rhythm to an exploratory bicycle ride. As you set out, close to home, the streets and trails are familiar, but an air of uncertainty hangs over your route. As you move through the landscape, various turns and landmarks provide hints of what is to come. Gradually, the usual terrain gives way to less familiar ground, and here, in the unexplored region, new challenges may present themselves. Finally, at some point, you realize that you have seen what you needed to see, and you are ready to return home, perhaps slightly changed, perhaps a bit wiser, perhaps hungry for donuts.
