Passage #217: 25 September 2013
Stone Cold Bluff
In the event that you are dealt a weak hand, bluffing is sometimes a useful strategy. It can shift the odds dramatically in your favor, if the other players do not think you likely to bet on a busted hand. Therefore it is best to bluff when others least expect it.
Of course, we are not prone to overplaying our hand on this ride; everything we do is completely intentional, always, of course. But this week, we are indeed bluffing. Two bluffs, in fact; perhaps more. Or perhaps less? Or are we entirely bluffing about the bluffs? There is only one way to find out.
